The White House (Barack Obama's residence)

The experience of performing at the White House was a personal and career milestone.  It was an honor and privilege to be asked and join the National Philanthropic Briefing on the Initiative on Asian-American and Pacific Islanders.  It was illuminating and inspiring to be among so many talented and committed individuals working on behalf of the AAPI community.  It was also informative for me to participate in the arts and culture breakout session and hear all the great ideas discussed, specifically, the cultural preservation of the AAPI community through The Smithsonian Museum and the use of technology to support and help the arts flourish.  I would love to also see arts education fitting into the equation of AAPI support.(Red Baraat with Kiran Ahuja, Secretary Solis)
